God has given us the book of Revelation, knowing the ones reading it will be His followers. This will keep their faith strong as they see the prophecies unfold. Jesus told us in Matthew 10:28 not to fear those who are able to kill the body because they cannot kill the soul, but rather to fear God, Who is able to destroy both body and soul. The tribulation will be far worse than anything that has happened so far in this world. Those living at that time will be unable to escape or change the events. We should not place our faith in the things of this world, as they will be completely destroyed. Our relationship with God not only affects our eternal state, but each day we live for Him has its eternal rewards.
